My name is Ruth Wanijiru Kimani,
I am fifteen years old. My family of seven lives in Kigogo. My
parents are small scale farmers who work hard in order to provide
for us all the basic needs. Our home is made up of walled mud
and iron sheets. I go to St. Josephine Bakhita Secondary School.
It is a mixed high school of both boys and girls. Our class has
40 students in one room. The number of subjects we learn are ten:
Maths, English, Chemistry, History, Biology, Physics, Christian
Religious Studies, Business, Kiswahili and Geography. My favorite
subject in English because all subjects that we do cannot pass
without knowing English. My favorite club is journalism. My dream
when I get through with schooling is hoping to be a broadcaster.
